Our Board Sourcing Process

We understand that finding the right board members is a critical decision. Our comprehensive board sourcing process ensures that we identify candidates who align with your organization’s values, possess the necessary skills and experience, and are committed to driving your strategic objectives forward. Our Board Advisory Positioning process can be completed as early as 3 months – depending on your feedback.

Step 1

Submission of Board Advisory Positioning Request

Companies interested in securing outstanding women board directors can begin the process by submitting a Board Advisory Positioning Request. We’ll take it from there and guide you through the entire journey.

Step 2

Discussion on Director Criteria

We understand that every organisation has unique requirements for its board of directors. In this step, we’ll engage in thorough discussions to define the specific criteria you seek in board members. This ensures that we identify individuals who align perfectly with your company’s goals and values

Step 3 (Optional)

Bespoke Board Networking

For companies wishing to assess suitability before making official selections, we offer the option of Bespoke Board Networking. This allows you to meet a carefully selected number of candidates in a casual networking setting. It’s an excellent opportunity to gauge compatibility and ensure the right fit for your board.

Step 4

Candidate Identification and Screening

Using our extensive network and rigorous screening process, we will identify a pool of high-caliber candidates who meet your board director criteria. Submission of Profiles and CVs

Our Pricing

We offer competitive and transparent fee structures tailored to your organisation’s needs. Our fees are based on the complexity of the search, the level of support required, and the number of board positions to be filled. Please note that our fees are applicable to clients (companies) only, not candidates.

Frequently Asked Questions

We ensure this through the board sourcing requirement form as well as scheduled phone call with our client to understand their requirements before we identify the right candidates for the board opportunity.

Our board sourcing is a customised service for our corporate clients; where we focus on ensuring that we fulfill the requirements of our clients. This is the man hours that we invest in making sure our clients are happy – and therefore, the fee is to cover the cost of the service

We charge no additional fee (besides the Initiation Fee) in cases where your company decides not to appoint our candidates. The Placement Fee is only charged upon successful appointment of our board applicants
We may send up to maximum 5 profiles throughout the board sourcing process – and up to 2 rounds of profile submissions.

Should a Director leave within 1 year of appointment, LeadWomen will support a new Board Search, on a complimentary basis. This will include up to 2 rounds of CVs.

Our members enjoy complimentary networking events and discounted paid events. Non-members are welcome, but they will not enjoy these benefits.

We understand that board appointments require you to assess not only experience but also suitability of the candidates to other board members – therefore, we are happy to offer optional board networking sessions between your Chairman / Chair of NRC / Head of HR with our candidates prior to the interview. Each Board Networking Session is charged at RM500/session.
