Shi Shuen Lok
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant
Shuen graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities with a BA in Anthropology and Gender Studies. Passionate about empowering girls and women, she has experience in various organizations focusing on equality and training. She is also an alumnus of the Harpswell Foundation ASEAN Program in Women’s Leadership, a program bringing together delegates from ASEAN countries and Nepal to examine issues across Southeast Asia via a gendered framework.
With most of her work revolving around grassroots communities, Shuen is invested in creating fun learning experiences for all through effective program design. She strongly believes in autonomous learning and is focused on creating sustainable long-term change within communities and individuals. At LeadWomen, she hopes to create a more equitable work environment for all through the Women’s Empowerment Principles campaign.
In her free time, Shuen enjoys watching k-dramas with strong female leads and playing Mobile Legends.
